1. Acceptance of Terms

By using FindXI, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

FindXI is a location-based community platform that allows neighbors to ask questions, request help, organize meetups, and chat. The service is provided as-is and may change over time.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use FindXI respectfully and lawfully. You must not harass other users, post harmful content, create fake accounts, or misuse the platform in any way.

4. FXI Points

FXI points are a non-monetary trust mechanism. They have no cash value, cannot be purchased or redeemed for money, and exist solely to facilitate commitment within the platform. FindXI reserves the right to adjust point balances to maintain platform integrity.

5. Identity Verification

Passport NFC verification is optional but required for certain features. Verification confirms you are a real person — no personal passport data is stored on our servers.

6. Collateral & Forfeiture

HelpOut requests involve locking FXI points as collateral. If you fail to show up for a scheduled meetup, your locked points may be forfeited. All collateral operations are managed by FindXI — there are no direct transfers between users.

7. Limitation of Liability

FindXI facilitates connections between neighbors but is not responsible for interactions that occur between users. Use your own judgment when meeting people in person.
