Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 7 May 2026
FindXI is a location-based community platform intended for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. This page describes the standards we apply, the tools we provide users to report concerns, and the actions we take when concerns are reported.
1. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on FindXI and will result in immediate removal, account termination, and where required by law, reporting to the relevant authorities:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any image, video, drawing, or text depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
- Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to engage a minor in sexual conduct or sexually explicit communication.
- Sexualisation of minors, including sexualised commentary, emojis, or coded language directed at or about minors.
- Sharing, requesting, or trading sexual content involving minors, including links to such material on other platforms.
- Trafficking, sextortion, or any commercial exploitation of minors.
- Use of FindXI by anyone under the age of 18 (see Section 4 below).
2. In-App Reporting
Every user profile, post, comment, chat message, and gathering on FindXI has an in-app Report action. Users can flag content or accounts for child safety reasons directly from the app, and reports are reviewed by our team.
You can also email child safety concerns directly to hello@findxi.com with the subject line "Child Safety". We treat these reports as the highest priority.
3. Our Response
When a report is received, we:
- Review the reported content and account as a priority, typically within 24 hours.
- Remove offending content immediately upon confirmation.
- Permanently terminate accounts found to have violated these standards, and block the underlying device, phone number, and identity signals from re-registration.
- Preserve evidence (account data, messages, IP and device information) for law enforcement, in accordance with applicable law.
- Report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the equivalent national hotline, as required by applicable law.
- Cooperate with valid legal requests from law enforcement and child safety authorities.
4. Age Requirement and Verification
FindXI is restricted to users aged 18 and over. Our app store listings declare an 18+ target audience and we have opted in to Google Play's minor-restriction signal so that accounts determined by Google to belong to minors are blocked from installing FindXI.
FindXI also offers optional passport-based identity verification, which is the only way to receive a verified status in the app. Users who attempt to misrepresent their age to circumvent the 18+ requirement will have their accounts terminated.
5. Compliance With Applicable Law
FindXI complies with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where the Service is offered, including but not limited to the Malaysian Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, the U.S. PROTECT Act and reporting obligations under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, the EU Digital Services Act, and the UK Online Safety Act. We update our standards and procedures as these laws evolve.
